CCAI’s discounted group rate is $129 plus tax and $12 per night resort fee.  The resort fee includes internet access, coffee in lobby, sporting equipment, daily newspaper and parking.  This special rate can only be obtained by booking through CCAI when you register.   

Please make your hotel reservation when you register online.  CCAI will be submitting all hotel reservations directly to the hotel and will inform you of your confirmation number after the hotel has processed all reservations.  Do not call the hotel, as they will not accept our group rate directly.  You will receive an acknowledgement of your hotel reservation along with your Annual Meeting Registration Acknowledgment.  Reservations must be made by May 23, 2010 to secure the special negotiated rate.

Situated in the Cascade Volcanic Arc in northern Oregon about 50 miles east-southeast of the city of Portland on the border between Clackamas and Hood River counties, Mount Hood's snow-covered peak rises 11,249 feet and is home to twelve glaciers. It is the highest mountain in Oregon and the fourth-highest in the Cascade Range.

Mt. Hood boasts spectacular natural scenery and ample opportunity for outdoor recreation. It is stunningly picturesque during all seasons and offers uniquely different things to see and do by season.

The Resort at The Mountain's location in Mt. Hood is just about an hour (42 miles) from Portland International Airport.

You will need to rent a car to get from Portland International Airport to the Resort at the Mountain.

General Driving Directions to The Resort From Portland International Airport (PDX) - 42 miles; 57 minutes

From NE Airport Way

  • Merge onto I-205 South/Veteran's Memorial Highway toward I-84 (Portland/Salem).
  • Merge onto I-84 East/U S - 30 East via Exit 22 toward The Dalles.
  • Take the 238th Drive exit (Exit 16) toward Wood Village.
  • Turn right onto NE 238th Drive.
  • NE 238th Drive becomes NE 242nd Drive.
  • NE 242nd Drive becomes NE 242nd Avenue.
  • Turn slight left onto NE Burnside Road.
  • NE Burnside Road becomes SE Burnside Street.
  • SE Burnside Street becomes US - 26 East/Mt. Hood Highway.
  • Turn right onto East Welches Road.
  • Turn right onto East Fairway Avenue.

Portland International Airport is served by most major airlines including American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Jet Blue, Southwest, United & US Air. 

CAR RENTAL
You will need to rent a car to get from the airport to the resort.  We have arranged for discount rental with Hertz. RECREATIONAL FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES
In addition to the 27-hole championship course, The Resort offers 4 tennis cours, an 18-hole lighted putting course, regulation croquet and lawn bowling courts, sand volleyball and badminton courts, a children's playground, outdoor heated pool, whirlpool spa, fitness center and numerous hiking and nature trails.

PARKING
Parking at The Resort at the Mountain is included in your resort fee.

WEATHER & ATTIRE
Temperatures at Mt. Hood are typically a little cooler than in Portland area due to the elevation.  Expect highes in the upper 60s to low 70s and lows in the mid-50s. 

 Dress for all meetings is resort casual – golf shirts, khakis and shorts

Non-Member - $425

Member/Non-member registration fee includes Educational Programming, Awards Luncheon & Tuesday Lunch, Welcome Reception and Refreshment Breaks.

Guests may attend the Welcome Reception at no cost.  Should your guest wish to attend the Awards Luncheon can do so by registering for a lunch ticket ($35) on the registration form.

Optional Activities Fees for Members & Guests
 Everyone is welcome to register for any of the optional activities that will be taking place during the Annual Meeting.  They include:  the golf outing ($80), the optional Timberline & Mt. Hood tour on Sunday ($55) and the BBQ Dinner on Monday ($45).  Please indicate which optional activities you'd like to attend onyour registration form.  These activities require a separate registration fee as listed.
