Overwhelmed by the amount of information you receive and send each day through the ever-growing mass communication tools available.  Business-to-business marketing is migrating from print, through digital and social media to a new sort of communication that allows for interactivity and social media all in one package.  Social media platforms such as FACEBOOK aren’t the conclusion, they’re only the beginning of where technology will take us.  There’s going to be a  new medium, a “mash-up” of print, digital and social media that will give us what we want, when we want it, and in the way we want it.  Like it or not, every business must adjust to the ongoing, rapidly changing ways businesses communicates and takes its products to market.  Ms. Rolfes will explain what all the media options are and how your business can begin taking advantage of them.

Forging Partnerships with Academics:  The Future of Our Industry

Ensuring a pool of qualified and well-prepared candidates to lead our industry into the future is paramount to our continued success as an industry.  Our recent scholarship program with North Dakota State University is our first step in working with academia to enhance our industry’s visibility to current students.  Vicki Gelling, Asst. Professor at NDSU will share info on her program and students and how our funds and knowledge are impacting current students, including an introduction into university’s research on the use of electrochemical techniques to monitor coatings and corrosion
