| February 16, 2012 | Pretreatment Symposium The CCAI-NI Pretreatment Symposium is a 1-Day seminar providing a copmrehensive study of surface pretreatments prior to paint and powder coating. Included are: * A comprehensive review of substrates and soils * The purpose of surface treatment * A summary of traditional surface pretreatment technologies * Transitional surface treatment * Quality control, coating evaluation and defect analysis * Removal of laser and mill scale In addition, pretreatment challenges will be discussed in detail including the strengths and limitations of all the various pretreatment technologies. Case histories will be presented.
