| February 16, 2012 | Dinner meeting at Mendakota
(Mendota Heights) On Thursday, February 16th, our TC Chapter will be sponsoring a unique event. There will be a special panel made up of four industry experts. Each panel member is a decision maker in his corporation and will offer a summary of his professional background as well as a brief bio of his company. The topic for the panel will center on what specifics they require from suppliers that presently do business with them and what is expected of potential supplier sales personnel that would like to do business with their firms. The panel members will be: Kent Kienitz – President of Powder Coating Technologies Mark Walsworth – Coating Specialist for the Donaldson Company Matt Morrow – Manufacturing Cell Manager for Graco, Inc. Bernie Walz – Global Coating Engineer for Pentair Technical Products. You can see from the titles and the companies represented the panel is made up of top end industrial professionals. It should prove most interesting to hear their expectations from sales people and others that want to supply them with their products and services. If you are a sales professional or if you are in an allied position to one of the panel members, this might be one of the more valuable meetings that you could attend this year. Minnesota Paint and Powder Coating Expo 2012.
The Twin Cities Chapter of
Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI) and the Minnesota
Technical Assistance Program (MnTAP) at the University of Minnesota, are
hosting the 8th Minnesota Paint and Powder Coating Expo on Thursday, March
15, 2012, at Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota (near St.
Paul). The Expo will include a vendor
show, hands-on demonstrations and technical seminars. At the last expo,
over 400 participants attended the 15 technical seminars and a vendor show
