CCAI offers In-House Training Programs on the following topics: liquid organic
coatings, liquid coating application equipment, powder coating, paint
pretreatment, and finishing system design. These programs are custom designed to
benefit a company’s finishing operations and are conducted in a company’s
plant to provide “hands-on” training on their own equipment. Special attention can be focused on areas of
specific interest to your company.
Courses can be one, two or three days long and last 4 to 6 hours per day.
The exact schedule depends on the content of the programs and the
customer’s needs. The training
sessions include lecture and visual aids. Each course will be accompanied by
CCAI’s training manual on the specific subject.
These manuals will serve as a reference guide when the course is
completed.
Trainees are encouraged to present specific problems for
discussion. The material covered in
the sessions provides insight to those who are new to the subject and in-depth
information for those with more experience, with the primary focus on practical
information on efficiency and improvement.
Rodger Talbert, CCAI Technical Director, administers all
in-house training programs. He has
over 20 years of experience in the design and operation of finishing systems and
has been the technical director of CCAI for over 10 years.
