Corrosion Protection by Coatings: Testing and Lifetime Prediction will be held June 10-12. Dr. Victoria J. Gelling will present a practical guide to the corrosion process, characterization of corrosion, corrosion protection by coatings, and testing of coatings. This course will also include hands-on laboratory time during which participants are invited to bring their own samples for evaluation. Space is limited due to the lab sections so early registration is encouraged.

The course’s content is structured to present a balanced educational view of subjects within coatings and corrosion. The course is designed for all levels of scientists and technologists working in the field, some background in college chemistry, including organic chemistry, is recommended.
