Learn to effectively communicate color to ensure consistency of a product at the CCAI West Michigan Chapter meeting. Our presenter, D. Scott Reininger, President of Global Color System, has an extensive background in color science, printing technology, applications of color science and color instrumentation.

Scott has worked in the color industry for the past 25 years with particular experience in several industries including Automotive, Paint, Plastics, Ink formulation, Printing and Textiles. He has been teaching color science and color physics classes for the past 18 years at Clemson North Carolina State and currently serves as President of Global Color Systems a company that develops and manages color programs for companies worldwide.

He also worked with X-Rite Inc. for 8 years and is most known for the development of their Spectrophotometric Systems. He was also the general manager of Megatronics Inc. a company that developed and marketed the first video based color measurement systems to the Textile, Plastic, Furniture Paint and automotive industries. These systems were used both as static color measurement and on-line of the first real time color feed back system ever developed.
