“The Importance of Industrial Water Treatment”- An in-depth discussion focused on water, energy and cost nexus!

Presenters Jake Harris and Mary Jane Tehan from Dubois, with over 58 years of combined experience, are often are asked "How can I improve my finishing system and what is the importance of clean water?" During their presentation they will discuss different pre-treatment options to include water clarification, Ion exchange and reverse osmosis options and the various types of water treatment solutions.  More importantly they will discuss Heat transfer efficiency, protection, water conservation methods, energy recovery, controls and reporting systems and program management. The discussion will lead into the benefits of how to best overcome obstacles in today's manufacturing environment. All these factors play a role in the industrial water treatment area.  More than just a simple seminar, they will examine these new challenges and modern approaches to getting the most out of water treatment for your coating processes.

Mr. Jake Harris
Jake Harris has a Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters Engineering Management & MBA from Milwaukee School of Engineering.  Jake has 28 years experience in industrial water and wastewater treatment (Calgon corporation, Baker Hughes, Mitco Inc., DuBois Chemicals).  He is Currently VP Water Sector for DuBois Chemicals.  Member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers and DuBois' company representative for AWT (Association of Water Technologies).  He is also on the AWT Wastewater Treatment Sub-Committee.

Ms. Mary Jane Tehan
Mary Jane Tehan has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Comprehensive Major – Chemistry & Business and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management.  Mary Jane has 30 years Industrial Water Treatment Technical Sales/Service;  7 of those years are with DuBois Chemicals.  She is currently Senior Account Manager for DuBois and a member of the Association of Water Technologies.
