I need somebody
not just anybody
you know I need someone

Beatles, 1965

Not just a cool old Beatles song but a feeling that many of us have in today’s tight labor market. With the economy still growing and the need for labor rising, many are faced with what to do. And running out of ideas….

So on January 17, the Twin City Chapter of the Chemical Coaters will present a panel discussion on labor – what labor is available, where to find it, how to keep it, alternative workforces – are among the many topics that will be discussed.

Our panelist include:

  • KJ Mornson, an HR Manager at Benedictine Health, who will provide a prospective on how companies are approaching labor in today’s market
  • Zena Berg, from Kelly Services, who will talk about the use of contract labor
  • Liz Jennings, Workforce Strategy Consultant, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, who will discuss how state and local government can help.

After brief presentations, the panelist will take questions from the audience,

Who Should Attend
– managers, supervisors and lead people needing to recruit and retain employees, suppliers looking to help their companies and customers, and anyone who has a role in HR in their business.
