Powder coating is already considered to be a greener eco-friendly technology, however, as environmental and sustainability pressures continue to escalate around the globe, the coatings industry is responding with innovative solutions that are better for the planet and society. This presentation will explore some new green initiatives, including powder coatings derived from biobased resins, the incorporation of recycled materials into coatings, and the recycling of waste powder.

We are excited to have Tabitha McLeish come to the West Michigan Chemical Coaters membership meeting to tell us what is new in
powder formulation.

Tabitha McLeish is the Global Marketing Director, General Industrial Coatings, at The Sherwin-Williams Company. With more than 23 years in the powder coatings industry, she has extensive personal experience in powder formulating, product management, business development, and marketing. Tabitha received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Gettysburg College and a Master of Business Administration from Alvernia University. The combination of Tabitha’s technical and commercial experience uniquely positions her to offer a distinctive perspective on the coating's marketplace.
