West Michigan CCAI is proud to offer a tour of Dayton Freight Service Center on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 2:00pm with food and networking at 5 Lakes Brew Pub to follow.

Most of us use freight carriers on a daily basis. Have you ever wondered what happens to your freight after it is shipped off? What goes on behind the scenes before you receive your shipment? Now is the chance to find out!

Founded in 1981, Dayton Freight is a privately-owned, union-free LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) carrier headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. Operating over 60 service centers across the Midwest, it offers regional shipping, truckload, and expedited freight services while maintaining a 98% on-time delivery rate. They employ over 6,000 employees & have 73 service centers.

Come join us for a full plant tour of their Byron Center facility. There are no limitations on who can join, we welcome all to come check it out!
