ANNUAL MEETING ATTIRE
Attire for the Annual Meeting is resort casual with the exception of the Friday Awards Dinner which is cocktail attire. Ties are not required for men. Be sure to bring a jacket or sweater for cool mornings and evenings and comfortable shoes.
WEATHER
The average high temperatures the last week of May in Sun Valley, ID, is in the high 60s to mid-70s with lows in the 40s. Plan to layer your clothing for outdoor
activities. There is a low chance of rain in May.
TRAVEL
FLIGHTS
You will want to fly into Sun Valley Airport (SUN), also known as the Friedman Memorial Airport. You will find direct flights into SUN from Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and San
Francisco on United; from Salt Lake City on Delta; and from Seattle on Alaska Air. Flying in from the east coast or other Midwest cities would mean a connection in the cities listed above.
Discount for flying Delta to Sun Valley
We have a meeting discount code with Delta. On Delta’s website, you have to click the ADVANCED SEARCH link on the right side of the home page to bring up the section where you can enter the Meeting Code. You have to do that before beginning your flight search. Enter NM4G7 and you’ll receive a discount of between 2 – 10% on domestic flights and between 3 – 10% on international flights depending on the fare class of the ticket you select. While these are not large discounts, every little bit helps.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION TO & FROM THE HOTEL
The Sun Valley Resort offers complimentary shuttle transportation from SUN to the resort. You MUST make a reservation to use the shuttle. Email your reservation request to: svshuttle@sunvalley.com. Include your name, number of people in your party
and the time of your flight arrival for pick up. Taxi, Uber or rental cars are also options. You really do not need a rental car if you are good with using the hotel’s shuttles into Ketchum.
